Welcome to the cooperation of museums of south Lower Saxony in Germany
We would like to give you an overview of the association of museums by introducing the individual members. This short introduction describes the important elements of the museums‘ collections and their specialities. In addition to these special features all the members have other interesting local and regional historical sections of exhibition.

Furthermore, the museums organize special exhibitions and conduct tours within their houses. They also offer pedagogical activities, information and tour broschures as well as booklets of exhibitions and writings about regional history. Please, ask for the current issue which can be purchased in the museums.

By joining together, the different museums of this region have decided to provide an attractive and interesting programme. The work of the association includes the consultation and coordination of the differnt museums as well as the planning and execution of special exhibitions. Moreover, the cooperation carries out pedagogical activities and common projects for the museums. The museums of the association conduct topical and exciting exhibitions for visitors.
